The Alexander Technique is a system of body movement designed to remove and/or prevent muscular tension. Instruction includes analysis of the student’s movement, delivering feedback to increase body and postural awareness and training in proper use of the body with an emphasis on mindfulness in everyday actions. Alexander Technique is promoted as a way to manage pain, improve musical and stage performance and as a means of personal development.
