Read reviews on Infraspinatus Respiratory Reflex (IRR) for the treatment of:

IRR is an asthma treatment which involves the injection of Lidocaine (a common local anesthetic) into the muscle at a specific location on the shoulder blades. The location of the injection is referred to as the “Infraspinatus Respiratory Reflex” and is a nerve center associated with several autonomic (or involuntary) functions, such as air flow into the lungs. The injections are said to relax the hyper-reactivity in this nerve center and alleviate the resulting bronchio-spasms associated with asthma.
